Summary

Daniel's West is a small convenience store and deli, located along Highway 67 just west of Ramona.  Wylie Architecture redesigned the existing building to appear as a Western saloon, complete with hitching post, reminiscent of an older, rural Ramona.

New details include mock saloon doors (the main entrance is located on the side of the building) and a full covered porch for dining. The dining patio has been enclosed to block noise and dust from the traffic on the adjacent highway.

The entry is defined with peeler log columns, a hitching post, lantern style lighting and corrugated metal roofing, reminiscent of an older, rural Ramona.
