This home lost in the Witch Creek Firestorm of 2007, was completely redesigned to fit the personal tastes of the owner. The home boasts 8:12 pitched roofs, accent brick inside and out, and beautiful wood trusses throughout the Great Room. The home has easterly views of the Laguna Mountain Range.

New Construction
2,500 s.f.
The October '07 "Witch" fire completely destroyed my house, there was nothing left standing except the chimney. Needless to say I was devastated and ill prepared to start the rebuilding process. After considerable research and scrutiny I chose Carole Wylie as my architect. I have never 'looked-back' . Throughout the entire construction process Carole has been both compassionate and understanding of the human element of rebuilding under stressful conditions. I have found Carole to be technically, extremely competent. She knows all of the building codes and where there is doubt as to interpretation, where to go to for the right answer. County building inspectors found very little, if any, design flaws. But, Carole's greatest contribution to my rebuilding was her creativity. She did not just design a "box" she created a beautiful structure, one that any current or future owner will be proud to live in. She has a knack for maximizing space. Carole's artistic talents come through in many ways e.g. color selection for walls, exteriors, carpet, etc. She may be petite but she is a 'burly-fighter' on the construction site when she wants things done right. I could write a book on her virtues. Not only did I find a great architect but a great new friend.
